ACE is proudly working with the following organisations to deliver the Happy School Project:
Children for Better Future (CBF):
With support from ACE and local partners CBF was registered as an NGO in Cambodia in 2010. CBF’s mission is ‘to support a child’s basic right to education, health and play’. Through its programs CBF supports Cambodian children to achieve a basic level of education and provides children with opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. ACE has been working formally with CBF to deliver Happy School activities since February 2010.
Intercontinental Hotel Group Phnom Penh:
Intercontinental Phnom Penh provides traineeship opportunities to Happy School students for a period of six months. The traineeships form part of the Vocational Skills Training Program, offered to graduates of the Happy School who elect to continue their education via a vocational pathway rather than in mainstream education. ACE formed a partnership with Intercontinental Phnom Penh and CBF in June 2011.
Happy Football Cambodia Association (HFCA):
HFCA is a registered NGO in Cambodia that provides football training and competition opportunities to disadvantaged young people in Phnom Penh. ACE formed a partnership with HFCA in 2010 so that students at the Happy School could take part in football training as part of their extra-curricula activities. One of the Happy School students was fortunate enough to participate in the 2011 Homeless World Cup in Paris.
